How do I tie a Rakhi without harming a tree?

Use a soft, loose and preferably biodegradable Rakhi. Do not use nails, wire, staples, plastic tape or anything that cuts into the bark. Remove the Rakhi carefully after the celebration so it cannot tighten as the tree grows.
